The tide is turning in the realm of sustainable finance. Climate risks are gaining higher prominence amongst institutional investors, while Europe is shifting up a gear with an action plan to direct financial flows towards a more sustainable future.

At this event, Swiss Sustainable Finance will discuss with different experts how the Swiss financial market can profit from those trends, while helping to shape their development.

We are especially happy to announce our keynote speaker Philippe le Houérou, CEO of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), who will elaborate on “How finance can help to create a sustainable world”.

Simon Zadek, Principal of Project Catalyst by the United Nations Development Programme and former co-convener of the UNEP Inquiry, will further provide an overview of current regulatory changes on the international level, which Prof. Reto Knutti, one of the lead authors of the IPCC report will complement with his climate research findings. Additionally, two expert panels will dive deeper into related topics providing room for discussion and debate.
